The Real beauty

It is a sucess in so far as more women retain their youthful apperance to a greater age than in the past. ” old ladies ” are already becoming rare. In a few years, we may believe , they will be extinct. White hairs and wrinkled face , a bent back and hollowed cheeks will come to be regarded as medievally old-fashioned. The crone of the future will be golden, curly and cherry-lipped , neat-ankled and slender.
The portrait of artist’s mother will come to be almost indistinguishable, at future picture shows, from the portraits of artist’s daughter. This desirable consummtion will be due in part to skin foods and injections of parrafin- wax, facial surgery , mud baths and paint, in part of improved health, due to in its turn to a more rational mode of life.
Ugliness sometimes is one of the symptoms of disease , beauty of health.
In so far as the campaign for more beauty is also a campaign for more health, it is admirable and , up to a point, genuinely succesful. Beauty that is merely the artificial shadow of these symptomps of health is intrinsically of poorer quality than the genuine article. Still, it is a sufficiently good imitation to be sometimes mistakeable for the real thing. The apparatus for mimicking the symptomps of helath is now within the reach of every moderately prosperous persons; the knowledge of the way in which real health can be achieved is growing, and will in time, no doubt be universally acted upon. When that happy moments comes. Will every women be beautiful – as beautiful , at any rate , as the natural shape of her features, with or without surgical and chemical aid , permits?
The answer is emphatically : No. For real beauty is as much an affair of the inner as of the outer self. The beauty of proclean jar is a matter of shape , of colour, of surface texture. This jar may be empty or tenanted by spiders , full of candies or stinking shine- it makes no difference to its beauty or ugliness. But a women is alive, and her beauty is therefore not skin deep. The surface of the human vessel is affected by nature of its spiritual contents. I have seen women who, by the standards of connoisseur of procelain, were ravinshingly lovely. Their shape, their colour, their surface texture were perfect. And yet they were not beautiful. For the lovely vase was either empty or fulfilled with some bad points. Spiritual emptiness or ugliness shows through. And conversely, there is an interior light that can transfigure forms that the pure aesthetician would regard as imperfect of downright ugly.
Beauty has varied throughout time, various cultures and the vast different perceptions of the world. Beauty has been described and depicted through pictures and concepts penetrating our minds. Beauty has been defined in so many ways. What I have discovered is that beauty is simple. Beauty is happiness.A thing of beauty is joy forever.
We are all unique women, with experiences and memories that tie together seamlessly into a blanket of our own versions of beauty. We are different shapes, sizes, colors, and heritage. We are mothers, daughters, sisters and grandmothers. We are activists, innovators, achievers and inspirations. We are the lives and change we create, and that is beaut

We have come far from the time when beauty is not just looks.
Well it is the time and demand of the world around us that forces almost everyone to reach to the mark.
Nice observation about how things would change and ‘old ladies’ might become extinct,
but I do not think so that will happen!
We always revolve in circles. We think we are making progress and after a century we come back to the start for e.g. in fashion or in our tastes.
Everything has a synergy and the change always goes back to the start.
    don’t you think ?

I Agree bhanu, situations keep revolving.

Just let me clarify by giving a real life example, i asked my mamma that i wanna buy plazzo, she said it now came in to trend even i had weared that in my time but in the middle they were completely extinct and all of a sudden they reappear.

For girls like me who are in their 18 and 19, plazzo is something that is completely new for them as we had not seen others wearing that, and if we had seen, must in pictures or in movies.

It was just in my imagination, old ladies getting extinct. Who knows if it comes true even i am not sure but it was just my imagination.

As long as it takes to reflect

I understand the pain of seeing 100likes and no comments. I once did a reality check post to see if anyone cared to read till the end. Some do read.

Your work is amazing no doubt on that. You do it for yourself and then it will make all sense

Your posts have lot of interactions and I often read those comments too.

        We give and We travel
        We get and We receive

I have lot of questions for now
After my new learnings most of my conversations have improved and I will try to make comments which express my thoughts clearly.

        Keep posting

No there is always a scope for improvement.

Everytime it is a new facet that I take up – Up until college it was science n tech. Then it was love and relationship. Then Job and humanity. Then religion and spirituality. Later psychology.

Lately I have been dwelling on Indian Customs n traditions related to marriage and thought process while using Greek philosophy to analyse them.
