Visit to buddha park

Hiiii lovely people.

I could not get a intresting topic for today’s post. But yes i want to share something with you all.

As it was my birthday yesterday, i visited a place which was a symbol of peace and serenity and it also carries historical significance with it.

Really I was a big fool as i never had been to that place since last three years but finally i got the chance yesterday.

Let me first share my look, before visiting the park😛😛

So coming to the point, i visited “BUDDHA MEMORIAL PARK”.

INAUGURATION :- This park has been developed by the Bihar Government to commemorate the 2554th birth anniversary of the Lord Buddha. This park was inaugurated by the 14th Dalai Lama.

LOCATION :- Fraser road, near patna junction.

AREA :- As per google and the information i could gather from the laser show, it covers area of 22 acres yet i am not sure.

CENTRE OF ATTRACTION :-

Meditation centre :-

The Meditation Centre has been developed to create a unique facility dedicated to the derived from plan of the monasteries in the ancient Mahavihara of Nalanda. It consist of library consisting of books on Buddhism along with a large Audio-Visual Hall.

Museum

The Museum building impersonates the free flowing natural form of the Buddhist Cave Monasteries of India that evolved from the earliest examples of Barabar Caves found in Bihar.

Stupa

The Stupa enshrining the holy relics of the  Buddha, is the attraction centre of the Buddha Smriti Park. Ambulatory paths around the stupa for parikrama have been provided at three different levels that lead to the highest level of the building. The relics are enshrined within the secure glass structure of the stupa and is accessible for viewing.

HANUMAN MANDIR PATNA :-

There is a place in the park, form where you could see the temple building, it seems beautiful.

LASER SHOW :-

The laser works beautifull on water medium. I could not wait for the show to start and most important the laser show helds in the open. Light wind and drops of water when mixed, refresh you and your mood.

OLD BUILDING, WHICH APPEARED JAIL TO ME :-
i could not gather much information regarding that but in the whole park that was the most different scene. An old buildung’s  wall. It was not even mentioned it in the show that makes it more intresting as everyone was forced to think about that.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE :-

The park has saplings of holy Bodhi trees which have been received from Mahameghavana Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka and Bodh Gaya, India.

I GOT THESE INFORMATIONS VIA GOOGLE AND THE LASER SHOW, WHERE THE HISTORY  AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THAT PLACE IS SHOWED BY LASER ON WATER FOUNTAION. TRUST ME GUYS IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL.
