Today’s post is different and i am writing this after being inspired by a girl, girl named tina dabi.
Hats off to her for such a great work. She cleared upsc in her first atempt and that is really remarkable .Result of upsc was declared on 10th may, tuesday.
In her interview, she said that she wants to be a role model for girls aspiring to clear the prestigious examination.
I really do not have too much idea about the civil services but i am damn sure that there are many people who really wants to be an IAS , IPS.
So Today’s post is about description on civil services. As much informations i have gathered, i am sharing.
The Indian civil services is considered as one of the premierservices which paves the way for becoming an IAS, IPS or IFS officer. Civil Services offer an attractive and challenging career to the ambitious, the aspiring and the talented. The wide variety of jobs within the fold of the Civil Services have relatively greater sphere of authority and power than any other services in India.
The services encompass all one can aspire for: prestige, job security, salary package, opportunity of foreign tour, job satisfaction, etc. Civil servants in one way decide the fate of the nation as the implementation of all developmental and other government policy rest with them. If we talk of prestige and respect this is the most prestigious and respectful job of India as it is a job which provides an opportunity to satisfy personal ambition as well as indulge in social welfare. The selection as civil servants isrigorous and only a handful is selected out of hundreds and thousands of aspirants every year. There is diversity of work- a wide variety of work is associated with civil services, like maintenance of law and order, developmental work, disaster management, representing India on international forum, administration, upliftment and empowerment of marginalized sections of society etc. There is a deep sense of job security as a civil servant cannot be fired easily. Once selected, a civil servant works till the age of 60 and is possible for him to get an extension. As far as salary package is concerned, the 6th pay commission has brought the salaries of the Civil Servants at par with those in the corporate sector.
The facilities and amenities provided to an officer are excellent. A remarkable thing about civil services is that it provides opportunity to contribute effectively in the decision making process of country. The talented ones also get to represent the nation at world forums. A person who wants to participate closely in the process of building society and wants to bring about positive social change should definitely try to crack the IAS examination. The aspirants of Civil Services favor the top three services namely- IAS, IPS and IFS as these services hold within their fold the vast scope to use bestowed power to bring about societal development. Also, these services are much sought after as they are symbols of great power, social recognition and affluence.
So this is all i could gather about the civil services, hope if any aspirants could found it helpful.
First of all I appreciate you (mahimasingh97) for writing this article about Tina Dabi who crack the mother of examinations in her very first attempt AIR 1. Being a mentor and as an aspirant I am greatly inspired by Tina Dabi.

Irony is that bureaucracy is to greater extent has slave mentality ,as in Hindi its known as “Naukar Shah ” they are trained in a way that they only follow orders of politicians no matter if they are 8th fail ,see in recent case of rocky yadav ,even SP Geetika Malik is supporting corrupt politicians ,bureaucracy is the most weak link of our system.

There are many cases where i too find bureaucracy and many more systems weak but also there are some incidents and some persons that really makes us feel proud.
I do not believe in slavery, we just can not become a slave of other untill we want to be. We can not be forced and if we are then we have to completely fight against that.

In shot i even found political system of our coutry very weak. Politics is much like drama these days, the way politicans talk about each other, the way various incidenets taking place, all is nothing morr than drama. I sometimes feel what the hell is going in our country. I found the ruling and opposing party weak, they are just living for themselves, their own points, their own problem.
Government is for people but i could not feel it sometimes. Being honest , i found myself immature for talking about these. So i try to list tha good among bads.

Even i do not find voting sufficient to change the country’s situation.
Those party governs, who got majority in votes but it is not always true that majority are right.
Individually, one can not elect the government, so goverenmet is for people and by the people fails.
What reamins is governement is by majority so voting can not help untill done in a good way.
